About OvaryAct!

Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) was founded in 1999 by a small group of ovarian cancer survivors to fund ovarian cancer research in Minnesota, raise awareness of the disease and to provide support to women with ovarian cancer and their families. MOCA currently has thousands of members with over 800 of whom are ovarian cancer survivors. The organization has awarded over $2.9 million for ovarian cancer research to promote earlier detection, better treatment and a cure.

Our Programs:

Public Education and Awareness
Until there is a reliable test to detect ovarian cancer, educating women about the signs and symptoms is crucial to our mission. We are dedicated to providing the newest information and resources to raise awareness and promote early detection of the disease.

MOCA’S Medical Education Program
Ovarian cancer often goes undiagnosed until the disease is in a late stage. MOCA’s medical education programs strive to provide information and awareness to the professionals that are at the forefront of detecting the disease.

Funding Research
Each year, MOCA funds research that helps promote early detection, better treatment options and a cure for ovarian cancer. All of the money dedicated to research stays in the state of Minnesota. MOCA has funded over $2.3 million in ovarian cancer research. Learn more at: mnovarian.org/promoting-research
