Because there is no reliable screening test for ovarian cancer like the PAP smear for cervical cancer or the mammogram for breast cancer, it is imperative for women to understand the symptoms and seek medical attention if they experience them. Early Detection Saves Lives.
That’s why Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance (MOCA) has launched OVARYACT, an awareness campaign to educate the general public about ovarian cancer. We want women to know the symptoms and know what to do if they experience these symptoms.
Look for OVARYACT messages around the state of Minnesota. Tell your friends, your co-workers and your family about OVARYACT and help raise awareness! It is imperative that the right information gets to every woman!
